Operation Shower “Joins Forces” with the First Lady

Integrity is proud to announce that one of our favorite charities, Operation Shower, is sponsoring an event at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina today. In addition to Integrity’s own Alan Sheu and Ed Morrissey, other attendees will include Michelle Obama, Jill Biden and Martha Stewart (the official scrap-booker).
The event, a unit-wide baby shower for 40 expectant wives of currently deployed servicemen, will mark the beginning of a public awareness campaign launched by the First Lady called “Joining Forces” that supports military families and encourages local businesses and communities to do the same.
Operation Shower is a nonprofit organization that recognizes and honors the sacrifices military families make by producing and coordinating baby showers for expecting military personnel and their families.
