Hammond in the house!

October 31, 2011  |  Posted By: Evan Young

Linguistic lady. Fab photog. Human rights revolutionary. Lauren Hammond is a go-getter with copious titles, but we’re proud to call her our newest content connoisseur! Lauren recently joined Integrity as a content strategist and project manager – and from wireframing to information architecture, she’s excited to do it all.

This Mizzou alumna graduated in May with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and minor in English. To say Lauren made the most of her Tiger years – largely paid for with, of all things, baking contest scholarships – is putting it way too lightly. She landed a social media internship her first semester and later pressed the flesh with the feds as an intern with the state department and U.S. House of Representatives.

Lauren also gained valuable experience working with a non-profit organization committed to a cause near and dear to her heart: bringing an end to modern-day slavery. She even took part in a campaign for legislation to help countries that combat such oppression. You could say we hired a world-changer!

In her spare time, Lauren flexes her photography chops freelancing for local and online publications, rocks out to the latest Korean pop sound and journals all her hopes and dreams – and everything in between.
