Indoor Mapping Startup Aisle411 Launches New Site

July 30, 2012  |  Posted By:

Ever been in the grocery store and experienced any of the following?

  • You forgot your shopping list
  • You forgot what’s on sale
  • You’re just unfamiliar with where anything is

Thanks to mobile app Aisle411, the answers are just a tap away.

Aisle411 uses indoor location data and searchable maps to make the retail experience easier for a shopper. This includes providing sale and discount alerts, searching for product locations and suggesting items to purchase the shopper may not have on his or her list. Users can upload, organize and share their shopping lists, and also create navigable routes through stores. This makes shopping easier and more efficient, and kind of similar to a game of Supermarket Sweep. Thankfully, it aims to save you money, not compare how much more you can spend (shoppers, don’t take your marks).

Integrity recently had the pleasure of redesigning the app’s website, adding a business-facing side for stores who may be interested in partnering with Aisle411. The app’s current partners include Walgreens, Hy-Vee and Schnucks, and is looking to expand to other store chains in the future. Resources are available on development and marketing opportunities, as well as seeing how the app can work in tracking shopper behavior.

Aisle411 is currently available (for free) in the App Store and Android Marketplace, and has been getting some solid press over at Mashable and Engadget. Check out the website, download the app and shop away!
