Increasing Intranet Adoption
The Challenge:
Create a new information architecture and wireframe for an underutilized statewide court system Intranet to improve employee communication, collaboration and job performance.
Our Solution:
- Conducted online and in-person user surveys to discover exactly what would make employees use the Intranet
- Interviewed department heads about necessary functionality
- Created clickable wireframe incorporating all feedback and functionality, optimizing the user flow with clear navigation, consistent headers and cohesive sub-navigation
- Developed guidelines for client to add to the wireframe as needed after launch
- Instructed communications department on how to train end-users and content managers during final roll-out of new Intranet
- Consulted with client’s internal development team instructing them on best implementation strategy
