Integrity’s dynamic devs celebrate marriage equality on CodePen
Following the recent historic Supreme Court decision supporting marriage equality, two of our developers took to CodePen with countless other geeks to celebrate by doing what they do best.
So without further ado...
"Pride" by Benjamin Gandhi-Shepard
"CodePen is a place to share, hack and test code. It is also a place to make a statement with code," Ben said. "The CodePen community responds to what’s happening in the world through code. Without communication a lot of us on CodePen responded to PRIDE weekend and marriage equality. Overall, I believe that equality is important. This is just one way that I was able to voice that."
"Rainbow Illuminati" by Kylia Miskell
"The inspiration was a conversation with my partner, Brian, about the term 'the gay agenda' which eventually somehow tangent-ed off into a joke about there being a LGBTQIA+ Illuminati," Kylia said about her colorful creation. "This immediately brought to mind the image of rainbows and the Eye of Providence pyramid and I decided to use the mental image to practice my CSS animation skills."
It takes a diverse community of passionate people to build amazing web products. Integrity embraces everyone who embraces our values. These values have nothing to do with a person's orientation and everything to do with his or her drive to make the world better through awesome user experiences.
We don't work with people in spite of who they are. We work with people because of who they are.
Now then, let's get to work.
