Featured case studies: e-commerce
E-commerce: the reason many of us will be doing our holiday shopping in our underwear. Let's be honest; we've all done it at some point.
That's why they call it the most wonderful time of the year, right?
Really, though, it's hard to argue against the convenience of online shopping. It's never been easier to buy (and spend) so much in so little time.
But while you gleefully and effortlessly hit "Add To Cart" on your favorite retail website, there's a lot of complicated, super technical stuff happening behind the scenes.
E-commerce is arguably the most challenging area of web development. There are shipping APIs to connect to for rate information and payment gateways that must process transactions securely, to name just two hurdles to clear. You're dealing with customers' money and credit card information; they tend to get cranky if you screw something up.
Of course, there are plenty of drag-and-drop e-commerce platforms out there for merchants with limited time and budget. But many of our clients demand highly customized solutions to accommodate their product inventory, customer volume and other factors. Fortunately, no matter your goals, you can count on the Integrity web application development team to help you achieve them.
Here are just a few of our favorite e-commerce projects:
Jiffy Steamer Magento Website Redesign
We recently overhauled the e-commerce website of the world's leader in steaming equipment. Jiffy required an intuitive and mobile-optimized shopping experience that could quickly get customers to the products they need. Magento, an open-source e-commerce platform, was the way to go.
Monster Coats WordPress Website
This new, St. Louis-based (and totally adorable) clothing company needed an easy, colorful way to market – and sell – its line of children's coats. We hooked them up with a flexible, user- and admin-friendly WordPress site, then hooked the site up to Square for a simple but effective e-commerce solution.
Lancaster Bingo Company E-commerce Web Application
Ever wonder where your favorite charity gets its flashy bingo cards, daubers and other supplies for big events? Chances are they're from Lancaster Bingo Company, a leader distributor of charitable gaming supplies. We had to do some serious strategy on this e-commerce project to stay in compliance with stringent charitable gaming laws, but like an intense game of cosmic bingo, we were up for the challenge.
